Barton Olive Oil Company extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is tested annually by Baker Wine & Grape Analysis (BWGA) in Paso Robles, CA to ensure our EVOO meets COOC and USDA standards for EVOO. In January 2024, BWGA results for our 2023 harvest returned free fatty acids, peroxide, absorbance and delta K values all within the COOC EVOO standards and a total polyphenol value of 506 mg/kg—which is excellent!
